She’s an artist, facilitator, counselor, trainer, communication consultant, and university instructor.

She studied counseling, and mentored by the guru Stewart Cubley; the leader and the coauthor of many books about the “Art Process”. Amany decided to peruse her passion in both art and supporting others after years of success in her profession as a communication expert and faculty instructor. She was the first to introduce the “Process Art” concept through painting in Egypt; the concept is based on spontaneous painting giving all the value to the process rather than the product. She held a number of workshops inside and outside Egypt under the name “Barah” (the vastness) to help people discover and express their true selves, accept and cherish them. The workshops are art-driven self-exploration workshops that are designed to work through intuitive wisdom, creative power and spiritual depth, she’s also an expressive art facilitator, using a diversified expressive art tools in support She facilitated the art process, and expressive art workshops for around 2000 participant to date, inside and outside Egypt. She worked with refugees, HIV survivals, mental health practitioners, community workers, care givers and international educators. 

Amany worked with many local and international NGOs as Alwan & Awtar, ICRC, UN Women, WFP, IFA, Care International, Seeds of Peace, Biblotica Alexandrina and others. It is worth mentioning that she had around 1000 hours of counseling, between one on one sessions and support groups.
Amany had grated The Mental Health Diploma, awarded from Ein Shams University. 

She is among the first graduates with a certificate in Art and Community Arts and Action Methods from Dawar CAAM 2017. Attended introductory training in IST (Internal System Therapy) with Tom Holmes. Amany is currently studying her Diploma in DMT (Dance and Movement Therapy) with Vincinzo Bellia, (DMT-ER Italy).
She also attending; One year certification in Forum Theatre at Dawar held by a number of national and international facilitators and gurus in the field.

And a student in a two years program of “Art in Therapy and Learning Context”, with Petra Rosenkranz, a German anthroposophical art-therapist, the training is based on the foundations of Waldorf Education (Holistic Education for head, heart and hand) and anthroposophy.
