I’ll love if you are obedient! It is not appropriate to laugh loudly! It is not appropriate to dance! Your drawings are bad they will laugh at you! Don’t be so sensitive! Why didn’t you get a full mark as your friend? Your sister is prettier then you! Don’t cry! Men don’t cry! We were told these sentences and much more, while we were little kids. The main problem is not only we’ve been told that, but the worse is that we’ve internalized these voices and we’re all the time saying the same to our inner child. In the time that he/she needs our attention, acceptance, love and care … we still silent them, judge them and oppress them. In eight sessions, we’ll be fully present meeting our inner child, we’ll see him closely and listen to him carefully. We’ll meet this tiny creature who knows all our life secrets… we’ll go with him/her in an exploration journey: We’ll listen to his/her voice, laughter, sadness and silence. We’ll see his/her movement and serenity. What does he/she like and what he/she hates. What makes him/her happy and what makes him/her sad. His/her passion and fears. We’ll meet our inner child in a support group through sharing and creative artistic sessions using different kinds of creative expressions; painting, movement storytelling and drama. – Number of sessions: 8 sessions – Duration of session: 3 hours
